Mollie Jo is a very senior girl. She came to us as the owners were moving and could only take one pet. Molly Jo had some prenty long nails so she walks a little funny but is getting used to walking with short nails again. She had some teeth pulled as they were very infected, she has a tumor on her eye that prevents her from blinking so I clean it with Hypo Tears and put lubricating drops in it to make her more comfortable. We've looked at removing the tumor but the eye would need to be removed also as well a large protion of the eyelid and not sure there would be sufficient tissue to sew it shut...very painful surgery for a girl her age. She's very happy to have a nice cozy bed, a good bowl of food twice a day and her eye lubricated and cleaned. Can you help give this awesome senior girl a comfy place to stay for the remainder of her days? Not sure you can adopt, try fostering a senior, they are awesome companions and it gives you warm fuzzies to know you can make them happy and comfortable with just a little love and care!
