Jack is approximately 7 years old. He is neutered, house trained, and up to date with his shots. Jack's previous owners had a doggie door that he used along with the other dogs in the house. A new male dog joined the family and Jack decided he needed to mark his territory so the new dog knew it was his house. His owners tried a bellyband but couldn't keep it on him. Jack has done well adjusting to the potty schedule at our house. He now lives with a german that's stronger willed than he and just keeps the belly band on....it's always dry but it's just a reminder for him that we potty outside. He does well with other dogs. He is good with teenage children but would probably not do well with children under 6yrs of age. He is a little over weight like most of us and weighs 13lbs He needs to go to a home with a fenced in yard as he's a typical doxie, door dasher and loves to chase rabbits, birds, especially the fat pheasants in our back yard! He sleeps in bed next to the man of the house, we close the bedroom door so there's no getting up and roaming without us knowing it. He's only woke us up once during the night to go out to potty. He is a low maintenance doxie and a lot of fun. He loves to go with in the car. Jack's adoption fee is $225.
