Howdy! My name is Dakota and I am a very sweet boy that just wants to be loved. I hurt my back in October 2018, my mom tried to help me get better so I could use my back legs again but unfortunately I haven't recovered use of my back legs yet. Dakota Dachshund Rescue adjusted a cart for me to use and got my UTI cleared up and now they are determined to work on my rehab to try to get my back legs to work again. I went to Dr Byl for acupuncture for the first time yesterday. My foster mom is like a drill sargeant with rehab exercises ;) I'm no longer allowed to drag myself around, it's very hard on my back legs. I am adjusting to maneuvering a cart and love my mobility. My foster mom expresses my bladder regularly, I bark if I need to poop and really try hard not to have an accident. I will go through some more rehab and acupuncture and be ready to look for a home of my own very soon. In the meantime I am looking for sponsors to help support my medical bills....can you be my New Years or Valentine's Sweetheart?
