Cherry Update July 15 2025 The more I'm in my foster home, the more I like being a fur kid. I've learned I like napping in my foster dad's arms. Meal time is one of my favorite times of the day. And did I mention I'm doing great at potty training and I can climb stairs like a mountain goat. I would love to be part of a forever home.

Cherry is a 6 year old female ShihTzu who is just starting to learn what "the good life" is. She is a very curious, petite female that loves running in her new, big, fenced yard. She is doing well with potty training and will have it down very soon. Toys and treats are still a mystery to her but she is eager to learn. Cherry is not really a cuddle bug. Sitting on your lap is not her first choice. She would rather be sniffing and exploring this new, large world.
Cherry has just begun her journey to become a house pet, she does require a fenced yard.
