Toffee Update 8/10/2025 I am a breeder release girl just starting my journey to become a house pet. I do not understand the dangers of vehicles and roads, therefore I do require a fenced yard. I am a very sweet, gentle girl that needs patience and kindness. My foster home has two cats & a 10 year old Standard Poodle and we get along great. A few small dogs have visited and I get along well with them also. Actually, I like everyone (human, canine, & feline) that I’ve met so far. I love to walk on a leash with a harness (I get excited and pull a little), I ride quietly in the car (I’m not really a fan yet), I know how to sit (when mom helps me with a treat). I am very smart, I love cuddles and kisses. I like chasing my toys (occasionally I bring them back), sitting next to my person, frolicking around the fenced yard and lots of attention. I go potty in the yard when mom and I go outside (sometimes I need extra time to go more than once or I go again when we get inside and no one is looking). I enjoy free time in the house with supervision. When I first started learning stairs, I was certain I could fly. I am doing much better now, but I still need to be reminded to go slow; I like to jump the last few going down. I do very well in my open wire crate. If I’m left unsupervised in the house too long, I potty on the floor. I have a crate in my All season room and a crate in my bedroom right beside my bed where Foster Mom sleeps at night. During the day when my people are gone, I stay in my crate. If you are looking for a potty trained girl, I am NOT your girl! I will take patience and time. DO NOT scold me. Regular potty time outside with an immediate treat is helping me to make progress. I am practicing using puppy pads. When I use the puppy pad, Foster Mom puts a clean pad down as quietly as possible. She wants to encourage outside potty but is happy when I use the puppy-pad and not the floor. (Foster Mom removed the throw rugs for now because they are my favorite potty spot).
Hi! I'm Toffee. I am a recent breeder release girl just starting my journey to become a house pet. I do not walk on a harness and leash yet nor do I understand the dangers of vehicles and roads, therefore I do require a fenced yard,
My adoption fee helps cover all of my vetting needs such as HW test, rabies, DHPPL, Bordetella, nspay, dental and microchipping.
