Izzie is a beautiful little girl that was taken to the Humane Society due to a back injury. I met Izzie and decided to have her evaluated by Dr Heidi, we decided that she was a candidate for back surgery, she is doing well with her therapy but has a long way to go. Izzie is learning to use her back legs again and is a very determined girl. The sparkle in her eyes and her spirit make you push that much harder to help her do her therapies to strengthen her legs and back. Will you be Izzie's sweetheart and sponsor her in this most difficult time?

Oct 12th 2009. Izzie Update. The Iz Bomb is the nickname I'm currently using as Izzie is the Bomb...everyone else is groaning about the snow but I've found it to be a godsend as Izzie doesn't like a cold bottom..yes she can feel the cold! Since the snow has come Izzie doesn't sit as much as she stands and is taking more steps than ever. She seems to sense how proud I am of her and would do anything to get to where ever Doug is! She's done more in her cart now that Mollie has arrived as Mollie races around like a bat out of hell! Izzie is going to walk again, I can feel it! It's been a long 8 months but I do believe it's going to pay off. Keep Iz Bomb in your thoughts and prayers. She needs lots of angels out there pulling for her!
