Of course, we also define rescue as “Haus” and “Jill” and “Lulu” and every other dachsie’s name that comes into our care, because every dachsie here at Dakota Dachshund Rescue has a story.  Every dachsie here has a need, and you can help!  Please consider sponsoring one of the delightful dachsies in our rescue.  Help us, help them.  Help us, help more! 

Sponsoring allows you to make a difference in the life of a dachshund who has touched your heart in some way.  A donation of just $25.00 for one month makes a considerable difference in the lives of our dachsies.  Some, like Dash, came in with large medical expenses up front; some have ongoing medical needs; but all will have been spayed, neutered, vaccinated and received routine dental care while waiting for their forever family to find them.

Whether they are here for one week, one year, or sadly, for some of our dachsies, their forever families never find them, and they live out their days as a forever foster with Dakota Dachshund Rescue, it does not matter. We will do all we can to help them put their best paw forward, but we have a lot of paws in need, and your decision to sponsor will further enrich their lives.
