Are you ready for Germanfest?

It's our biggest Meet & Greet of the Year and all the dachsies are talking about it.  They know a lot of dachshunds meet their forever families at Germanfest, and they are all crossing their paws and saying their prayers that this year will be “their year”.  We hope so too!

It will also be our 5th year of Wiener Dog Races at Germanfest!  Whether you are new to wiener dog races, you are defending your title, or you are out for a little redemption, Falls Park West is the place to be on September 8th, so be sure to click below to get your dachshund registered!

NEW THIS YEAR is a Grand Dachsie “run off” whenever more than one heat is run due to the number of dachshunds registered in that category.  Only the first place winners in each heat will be eligible to run for the top dog honors and bragging rights for 2012.

ALSO NEW THIS YEAR is a Dachshund Costume Contest, which will be held BEFORE the racers hit the track, so that racers can participate as well.  Stay tuned for more details as we are working with the fine folks at Germanfest to get this lined up on stage!
